To introduce the child around 3.5 years old. Tracing lines for pre-writing.
Pre-activities: a lot of practical life activities and tracing sand papers and sandbox, erasing blackboard with water.
This fun tracing exercises where one needs to prepare a box with at least 5 crayons or pencils in different colours. Present the child first how to trace the line with the finger by starting from the dot. Then with the crayons or pencils. Let the child trace multiple times the lines with the different crayons/pencils so the end-effect is a colourful line. The child can always repeat this activity by going back to his/her book and trace the lines with other colours.
My materials are designed on an A4 sized paper to be printed on actual size.
