“Every seashell has a story. Every seashell is unique. Some are plain, smooth, spiky, round, pointy, ridge, and some with patterns, but they all are beautiful, they have a purpose, and must be treasured.”

ABOUT ME

I am Charlene. I’m from the island of Aruba and live over a decade now in beautiful Switzerland. I’m a Montessori inspired mom of 3 beautiful kids of age 2, 4, and 6. I am passionate about applying Montessori at home where my kids can learn by their own will and inspiration. I am Montessori teacher, a financial consultant, love cooking, swimming, dancing, nature, and love to express my imagination through art and crafts.

I want to inspire you to have some memorable experience for and with the child. That’s what I try to create for you and the child. The materials I create are inspired by my kids and students’ interests and needs, the current season,  and the surrounded nature where we live and where I come from. Most of my products are designs from my own creation or from artists I support. I believe kids in the early childhood need to learn with hands first, whereas my materials come into place to be used in companion with concrete materials. Some ideas I am sharing on my Instagram page. #SeashellEducation

If I can put my Montessori experience with my children in a few words or sentence, I would say, I see a child like a seashell.

“Every seashell has a story. Every seashell is unique. Some are plain, smooth, spiky, round, pointy, ridge, and some with patterns, but they all are beautiful, they have a purpose, and must be treasured.”

I hope you enjoy the materials and have many special moments with the child applying them.

“Like a Seashell, a child is formed from simple things. Treasure them, held your child and listen to their heart, like you try to hear the ocean inside a seashell.”
