Dinosaur timeline & colouring pages: This download includes a PDF file with:
The watercolour designed nature provides the background for the dinosaur timeline. The timeline specified by colours: “blue” marks the Triassic period, “green” is the Jurassic period and “red” is Cretaceous period. From the colouring pages, the Dinosaur names are also colour coded with blue, green, and red to cut and place onto the timeline.
Included are:
3 Dinosaur period timeline water coloured nature backgrounds.
-Blue: Triassic (Trias) period
-Green: Jurassic (Jura) period
-Red: Cretaceous (Kreide) period
*Connect the timeline with a tape in the back.
-16 Dinosaurs to colour (black and white) with colour coded Dinosaur names:
Blue: Triassic period: Ammonite (Ammonit), Belemnite (Belemnit), Dimetrodon
Green: Jurassic period: Brachiosaurus, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus
Red: Cretaceous period: Spinosaurus, Velociraptor, Ankylosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus rex, Parasaurolophus, Iguanodon, Pteranodon, Elasmosaurus.
Other: Dinosaur egg (Dinosaurier Ei)
This activities is an inspiring way to introduce children to the timeline of life of the Dinosaur. The child or the adult can colour the dinosaurs to be add to the timeline. One can print the colouring pages on thick paper in order to be used multiple times as a study/educational set (last picture as an idea).
Recommended to introduce the theme with the timeline of life first and then expand into the Mesozoic Era explaining the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous period. Also to compare to Dinosaurs figures.
My materials are designed on a A4 sized paper to be printed on actual size.
