This activity is fun for toddlers and children in their early childhood to learn colour and shape discrimination and to recognise insects just by their shape. With a toddler start slowly with 2 or 3 pairs and then slowly increase the quantity. One can start with the colours, then to the silhouette cards, and then to the black and white.
My materials are designed on a A4 sized paper to be printed on actual size. There are 8 cards on each page. I like to print on card stock or on watercolour paper, cut along the marked lines, and punch the corners round.
